We’re thrilled to announce that FilSwan is a pioneering member of the Filecoin Virtual Machine (FVM) Foundry now! FilSwan, the leading builder of the Filecoin ecosystem, will be dedicated to knowledge exchange and technology innovations on Filecoin.
Throughout the program, FilSwan will participate in monthly workshops with the FVM team, solution brainstorming, early testing, and developer experience feedback.
About FVM Foundry and Early Builders program
The FVM Foundry is a long-term collective that brings together Web 3 devs with core developers to share knowledge, innovate, and ensure that the FVM meets the technical requirements for the upcoming apps, systems, and platforms that developers want to build on it.
The Foundry’s Early Builders program will run from April-June 2022. All individuals with expertise and interest in smart-contract programming, large-scale data, compute-over-data, and data governance (data DAOs) are welcome to participate. Each participant will receive a one-time stipend of $7,500 in FIL; extensions and development grants may also be available for continued work.
The FVM unlocks boundless possibilities, ranging from programmable storage primitives (such as storage bounties, auctions, and more), to cross-chain interoperability bridges (e.g. trustlessly connecting Filecoin with Ethereum, Solana, NEAR, and more), to DAOs, to Layer 2 solutions (such as reputation systems, data availability sampling, computation fabrics, and incentive-aligned Content Delivery Networks), and more.
